The job
As leader of the marketing team, you will be responsible for brand strategy and growth, including managing the implementation of our marketing campaigns.
With exceptional cross-platform management skills and experience in the telco, mobile or technology industry, you will be a strong brand strategist with focus on customer acquisition and engagement.
The role is a true Marketing Manager role where you create and lead the brand and marketing strategy and work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to bring your marketing vision to life.
This role will directly report into the General Manager with a direct line the Group Marketing Director.
The day to day
- Develop the brand strategy and customer acquisition and engagement marketing campaigns
- Manage the brand position in the market, look and feel, making certain consistency is achieved across all channels and media
- Manage the advertising and promotional budget, ensuring that we are maximizing ROI
- Create and execute plans with key stakeholders internally across functions and externally with agencies and partners
- Working directly with channels to execute brand and sales strategies
- Manage media and creative agencies to maximise opportunities and outputs
- Identify opportunities, both trade and consumer, to supplement national sales strategies.
Ie; local on-and-off premise activation, consumer promotions/partnerships, PR/digital
- Working with product and software developers to improve customer experience and execute campaigns to maintain customer engagement
- Deep understanding of marketing environment through data insights, competitor activities and derive unique strategies
About you
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, including experience in Australia.
– Ideally experienced in the telco or mobile communications space.
– Demonstrated success in brand management with the ability to motivate and guide team to achieve results.
– Ability to manage workload and cope in a constantly changing and evolving environment
– Strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and strategic thinking.
– Experience thriving in cross-functional groups.
– Experience presenting to small and large audiences.
– Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
– To be a proactive self-starter.
– Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Google Analytics, CRM Software, Google Apps, Digital marketing platforms +
- Bonus tech skills
- Strong understanding of Adobe suite
- Speaking Mandarin is an advantage, but not essential.

Salary range: 90-120k plus super and bonus.
